RUNNERS will put their best feet forward in aid of Sport Relief at Dovestone reservoir on Sunday.
Those taking part can run one, three or six miles as part of the charity effort. Start time is 11am.

“SYLVIA”, the latest production by the Saddleworth Players, will open tomorrow for an eight-night stretch at the Millgate Arts Centre in Delph. Tickets for the play, billed as a love triangle with a twist, are £7.50 and available on 01457-874 644. Nightly performances start at 7.30pm and run until Saturday, March 31.
JOIN in a Lent lunch at St Chad’s Parish Centre in Uppermill from noon to 1pm on Wednesday. Staged every Wednesday until Easter, each lunch will start with a talk followed by soup, bread and fruit, with all donations going towards Christian Aid.
PERMISSION is being sought to install solar panels on the roof of Delph Library at the Millgate Arts Centre.
PUT a spring in your step by indulging in a coffee at a spring fair on Saturday, March 31. Taking place from 10am to noon, the event, at Delph Methodist Church, will see home produce, books, toys and craft stalls on offer, with £1 entry in aid of the church.
THE Lees and Hey Homewatch Association will meet at Lees Library on Wednesday, from 7.30pm. A guest speaker from the Community Safety Unit will give advice on crime prevention for properties.
CRAFT-LOVERS are in for a treat at Woodend Mill in Mossley tomorrow from 11am to 4pm. The Mossley Craft Market will see locally-produced items and unusual gifts on sale, with admission free.
