THE Crompton House Swing Band, Brass Ensemble and the Oldham Music Centre Swing Band will perform at St Thomas Leesfield Church in Lees tonight in the Changing Lives Concert, at 7.30pm.
Organised by teenager Ellie Knott, cash raised will help fund a student expedition to Ecuador to work in local communities and carry out conservation work.
LAUGH your socks off with the Saddleworth Comedy Club and Friends of Denshaw School Comedy Night at Denshaw Village Hall tomorrow. Money raised at the event, strictly for over 18s, will support Christ Church School, Denshaw. Licensed bar, from 8pm. Contact 07812-063-387.
LOCAL crafters will come together at a Mossley Craft Market at Woodend Mill, from 11am to 4pm tomorrow. Admission is free.

PLANNING permission is being sought to change the use of The Pastures, Huddersfield Road, Scouthead, from a house to a private day nursery, with extensions to the main building and outbuildings.
THE Lees and Hey Homewatch Association will meet at Lees Library from 7.30pm next Wednesday.
HUNT for a bargain at a car boot sale at St Mary’s School in Greenfield on Sunday, from 9am to 2pm.
TUCK into toast, scones and homebake during a coffee morning at Zion Methodist Church in Lees next Thursday, from 10am to noon. Proceeds go to church funds.
