Heartbreak as Shannel pines for missing pet
A CRUFTS-WINNING chihuahua has gone walkabout after escaping from his home on Monday.
The tiny pooch, Dejacqueray Dick Dastardly — Dickie for short — is missed by seven-year-old Shannel Wilson after he escaped through a gate at his house in Sutherland Close, Abbeyhills.
Owner Denise Hurst said the much-loved two-year-old prizewinner was last spotted in Limeside Park on Wednesday.
She said: “Dickie lives with my friend Tricia. Tricia’s stepdaughter Shannel is heartbroken.
“We just want him to return as soon as possible.”
The popular pet qualified for Crufts and won second prize in his class at this year’s event.
There is a reward for Dickie’s return. Call Denise on 07871-643 311 with information.
