A TESCO lorry driver took a turn for the worse in Saddleworth.

The truck was driving into Wall Hill Road from Huddersfield Road in Dobcross but got stuck on the bend, after taking out a 40mph speed sign, on Friday morning.

Police were called because the HGV was blocking the road.

A recovery vehicle managed to free the truck after an hour.
