RAISE money for the Saddleworth Special Needs Group at a coffee morning at St Chad Parish Centre, Station Road, Uppermill, tomorrow between 10-11.30pm. £1 entry includes a drink and cake. A raffle will also be held.
BOP along to the sounds of the 50s and 60s with band The Cadillacs at Delph Band Club tomorrow. The music starts at 8.30pm, to follow on from the Christmas lights switch on at 5pm.
PHOENIX Brass Band will play a concert at Greenfield Methodist Church tomorrow from 7.30pm. Tickets £6 on the door which includes mince pie and coffee. In aid of church funds.
LOCAL childrens’ leukaemia charity The Samantha Jones Trust is hosting its annual Christmas flea market at the Civic Hall, Uppermill, on Sunday. Doors open 10am to 4pm. Admission 50p for adults, 30p concessions. Christmas gifts and tombola stalls.
MULLED wine and mince pies, plus a variety of local businesses selling Christmas gifts and food will be at a Christmas fair at Delph Club, Gartside Street, on Tuesday. Open from 6.30pm.
CELEBRATE Christmas with a craft festival at Uppermill Civic Hall on Saturday, December 8, and the following day. Local craft and food stalls will be available, plus a hog roast, and Father Christmas will also make a visit. Open from 10am-4pm, Santa visit from 11am-2pm.
BRING your furry friends and pampered pets along to a carol service to be held at Friezland Arena, off Manchester Road, on Saturday, December 8. The service for all creatures great and small starts at 11am with mince pies and mulled wine served afterwards.
