DELPH Methodist Church is holding its spring fair and coffee morning tomorrow from 10am to noon. Stalls include home produce, gifts, toys and bric-a-brac. £1 admission, includes refreshments.


SADDLEWORTH Players are on the lookout for new members at an open audition evening tonight at the Millgate Centre, Delph, from 7.30pm. The evening is a chance for anyone interested in acting with the society to meet members and read from scripts in an informal audition session. THE Diggle Diamond committee, which helps senior citizens living in the village, is keen to recruit new members to ensure its hard work can continue into the future. It meets once a month, holds coffee mornings every two months, holds a Christmas Party and organises a trip in June. REPAIRS to the Huddersfield Canal tow path are now well under way thanks to the Street Scene Greenfield Group, and after donations of £1,000 from the District Partnership and £500 from Councillor John Hudson.
