Mad Hatter party

RAISE money for Age UK Oldham by donning your finest headgear for a Mad Hatter’s party at Milan Bar, Lees, taking place on Friday, May 17, from 7.30pm.



Tickets are £12, with all proceeds going to the charity, and everyone must wear a fancy hat. There’ll also be a hot buffet, live singer and raffle. Contact Vanessa Hamer for more information on 0161-633 0213.



PROFESSIONAL and amateur artists will display their work at an exhibition at Friezland Parish Church tomorrow, between 10am and 4pm, and Sunday between noon and 4pm. For more information, contact Duncan Ross on 01457 835261.



TEST your Saddleworth knowledge at a Diggle Band Club quiz tomorrow from 7.30pm. There’ll also be a band, other local talented performers and a meat and potato pie supper.



GATHER plant cuttings for your garden at the annual plant sale tomorrow raising funds for Saddleworth Chamber Concerts. Held at High Kinders, Greenfield, from 10am, you’ll be able to pick up an array of different cuttings, plus there’ll be tea, coffee and cakes. THE Dementia Friends of Saddleworth will meet on Tuesday at the Delph Club, Gartside Street, from 7.45pm to discuss issues about the illness. Everyone is welcome to join them on the night.



ENJOY a family day out at Greenfield St Mary’s School, Manchester Road, on Sunday, May 19, from 11am. There will be a craft fair, stalls a bouncy castle, donkey rides and refreshments.
