LOOK back over 500 years of Denshaw on Wednesday with a presentation by Mike Buckley of the Saddleworth Historical Society,


The talk “From Medieval Farm to Industrial Village” is at Denshaw Village Hall from 7.30pm.


FOUR Swiss bands will attempt to impress brass lovers in Saddleworth over the Whit Weekend. Bands Matzendorf, Konkordia, Breitenbach and Knutwill will play at Uppermill Civic Hall on Saturday, May 25, from 7.30pm, to continue the festivities. CANCER fundraisers “The Allsorts” are holding their next charity drive, with a Sheep Shearing Day at the Hanging Gate Pub, Diggle, on Sunday, May 26 from noon to 5pm.
