BOOK a place to donate blood in July. If you’re aged between 17 and 66, and are over 7st 12lbs in weight you can donate at Uppermill Civic Hall.

During April and the first three weeks of May, 21 criminal offences were committed in Saddleworth North including three burglaries, one occurrence of shop lifting, two thefts from vehicles, two cases of illegal possession of drugs and one offence of damage to road surfaces.

RAISE a glass to charity, with a whisky tasting event that will raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Held at the Diggle Band Club next Friday, May 31, from 7.30pm, tickets are £20 which includes whisky, a pork pie supper, raffle and auction. Non-whisky tasting tickets are £6.
