SADDLEWORTH has launched its own online radio station, on air 24 hours a day, with the best music of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Log on to www.saddleworthradio.com.
BESPOKE cocktails, delectable cakes and a drinks masterclass will be held at the Conservative Club, Uppermill, as part of The World of Susie Wong Cocktail and Cake Event tomorrow. DEMENTIA Friends will be holding a session at the Satellite Centre, Greenfield, on Tuesday at 7.30pm. Book a spot online at www.dementiafriends. org.uk or come along to the Wellington Road centre on the night.
CARERS of those with memory problems are invited to attend Saddleworth Carers’ Group meeting at Sacred Heart Church Hall, Uppermill, on Friday, July 26. The talk, which starts at 10am, includes a visit from the Fire Service about fire prevention in the home.
LIB-DEM councillor Garth Harkness will be holding a surgery to discuss local issues between 10.30 and 11.30am on Saturday, July 27, at Delph Methodist Church Hall.
