MORRIS Man Ed Worrall will treat the members of Saddleworth Women’s Institute to a talk on the history of Saddleworth Rushcarts on Wednesday at the Saddleworth Hotel from 7.30pm.
Non-members welcome to attend.
LISTEN to a talk on “The History of Lordsmere” by speaker Brian Greenwood at St Mary’s Greenfield Ladies Luncheon Club, at Boarshurst Band Club, on Thursday starting at 11.30am.

DELPH Primary School, which organised this year’s Oldham Primary Schools Business Challenge raised almost £650 from selling specially-designed notebooks, pencils and pencil holders at Tesco. All profits will go to Cancer Research UK.
APPLICATIONS to build three new houses with garages at land on Cribbstones, Delph New Road, and to install Vodafone telecommunications apparatus at Jellystone Farm, Friezland Lane, will be among those heard by the Saddleworth Parish Council planning committee on Monday from 7.30pm.
