SADDLEWORTH Gardening Club next meets on Monday at the civic hall, Uppermill. Meetings are on the first Monday of the month over winter, members £1, non-members £2 including tea and coffee.
ENJOY a coffee and raise money for Shoebox for Soldiers and the Help for Heroes at St Chad’s Parish Centre, Station Road, Uppermill, tomorrow, 10-11.30am. Entry £1 including cakes and a brew.
SADDLEWORTH Civic Trust is holding a flea market at Uppermill Civic Hall on Sunday, 10am-4pm. Admission 50p, concessions 30p. Stalls and refreshments. Book a stall on 01457-876 858.

DOBCROSS Silver Band provides the music at Delph Band Club on Sunday. Free admission, entertainment starts at 8pm.
DOBCROSS Band and Social club, Platt Lane, holds its half-yearly meeting on Sunday, from 2pm. All members invited.

RUMMAGE for treasure at a jumble sale on Wednesday, from 6pm, at Uppermill Civic Hall, in aid of Saddleworth Parish Council chairman’s charities. Donations of bric-a-brac, soft toys, unwanted gifts and clothes can be made at Uppermill Post Office, The Little Shop or Uppermill Civic Hall. Call 01457-872 100 for collection.
