Band club appeal

DOBCROSS Band and Social Club wants ideas to make it a “club for all.” Make suggestions in an online survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/9DLHNP9.


MEMBERS of St Chad’s Church, Uppermill, are researching the 77 names inscribed on a memorial tablet to mark the 100th anniversary of the First World War. Anyone who has a relative named on the tablet who wants to get involved or be part of the research group should call 01457-879 977 or email office@saddleworthteam-cofe.org.uk.


CHILDREN aged four to 11 can share Boredom Busters at Saddleworth Museum, starting on Tuesday, February 18, 1-3pm, refreshments available.


LEES and Hey Conservative Club is hosting a Valentine’s Day concert, tonight with the Harper Brothers, 8pm, admission £1 members, £2 non-members.


TICKETS are selling fast for a St Patrick’s night party featuring Danny Lowry’s tribute to Robbie Williams, at Dobcross Band Club, on Saturday, March 15.
