A THREE-DAY “Be Creative Bank Holiday Bonanza” starts in Saddleworth tomorrow, featuring local crafters, creatives and small businesses.
Everything from pies and jams to handmade chocolates and whimsical crafts is on offer. Entry is free at Uppermill Civic Hall, from 10am to 4pm.
RELAX with a cuppa and a slice of cake tomorrow at St Chad Parish Centre, Station Road, Uppermill, 10-11.30am. Raffle tickets, greeting cards and other goods on sale, in aid of El Tular. Admission is £1.
OLDHAM writing cafe meets tomorrow at Lees Library, from 10.30am to 12.30pm. All welcome.
SHARE concerns with police at a surgery and mini home watch meeting on Wednesday, May 7, at Lees Library, Thomas Street, from 1.30 to 2.30pm.

A WEEKEND of beer and entertainment with 11 different hand pumped beers starts next Friday (May 9) at Boarshurst Band Club, Greenbridge Lane, Greenfield. The two-day event, hosted by Greenfield Brewery, has live music and pies from the little Saddleworth Pie Company, Friday 7-11pm, Saturday 2-11pm, £2 admission includes raffle ticket.
VOLUNTEER to help Street Scene Greenfield spruce up the area on Thursday (May 8). Equipment provided, wear suitable clothing and take a drink and a snack. Gill McCulley on 01457 870364 has meeting details.
