FRIENDS of Saddleworth Museum, High Street, Uppermill, is holding its annual plant sale on Sunday from 11am to 3.30pm with admission free.
On sale will be both indoor and outdoor plants — the latter set out in the museum’s “secret” garden to the rear of the Gallery — as well as books, bric a brac/nearly new, cakes, pastries, jams, etc and hand made goods. Bounce and Rhyme are free weekly sessions for babies up to 18 months old. Enjoy songs, stories, rhymes, sensory play and musical instruments at Greenfield Library, Fridays 10.15-11am, Lees Library, Mondays 2-3pm and Uppermill Library, Thursdays 10-11am.
DOBCROSS Bowling Club hosts the President’s Cup bowling competition on Sunday. It starts at noon, entry is £3, and entry forms are available from the club.
