JOIN in the fun in Greenfield tomorrow at St Mary’s School Family Festival, fairground and fun 3-6pm — live music, bar, barbecue and Greenfield real ale 6-11pm.


AN adult comedy night is the final fund-raising event of the year run by Saddleworth Women’s Institute in aid of Oldham Bereavement Support Service. OLDHAM Writing Cafe meets tomorrow at Lees Library from 10.30am-12.30pm. All welcome.



THERE is still time to book a stall at a flea market in the civic hall, Uppermill, on Sunday, July 13, through Kath Hodges, on 0161 624 1905. Proceeds to St Anne’s Church, Lydgate.



ST MARY’S School, Greenfield, hosts “Le Petit Marche” for the church fund-raising group on Sunday, June 29. The summer fair with a French theme will mark the Tour de France, and runs from noon to 4pm. Proceeds to church funds.



THE Luncheon Club for the Elderly of Saddleworth is appealing for volunteers who can spare around four hours a month to meet and greet, set tables, prepare and serve lunch to its 30 members. Anyone interested in helping should call into the Civic Hall, Uppermill, and ask for details.



JOIN in family fun with Rainbow’s toddler group, meets Thursdays at Springhead Congregational Church, Radcliffe Street, Springhead, 9.30-11.30am, £2 per family, including snacks. Details from Julie Buckley on 07774 583644.
