Big switch-on

THE Delph Christmas lights switch-on takes place on Saturday, November 29, at 5pm.
The event will be on King Street and High Street and traffic may be affected.
A CHRISTMAS fair is being held on Saturday, November 8, to raise funds for CAFOD and Christian Aid. Taking place at the Sacred Heart Centre, Uppermill, from 10am-4pm the event has been organised by Saddleworth Churches.
SADDLEWORTH Women’s Institute is holding a quiz night at Greenfield Conservative Club on Sunday, November 9. Doors open at 7.30pm and the quiz starts at 8pm, with a maximum of six per team. Entry is £1 per person. All profits to WI’s 2014 charity, Oldham Bereavement Support Service.
