THE chairman of Saddleworth Parish Council, Councillor Enid Firth, is looking to honour a person or couple who donate time and effort to charity work at a dinner at Greenfield Conservative Club on May 15.

DOBCROSS Silver Band present the Jager Maestros Oompah Band on May 15 at Dobcross Band Club (8pm). Tickets £8 on 01457-873 741 with proceeds going to the band’s Menin Gate Fund.
THE parish community of St Chad, Saddleworth, hold their monthly coffee morning on May 2. Running from 10am to 11.30am at St Chad Parish Centre, Uppermill, entry is £1 with proceeds going to provide aid in El Salvador.
