Volunteer appeal

THE Dobcross Whit Friday Committee is looking for volunteers to help during this year’s event, which features morning walks, a children’s lunch, afternoon sports and the evening brass band contest.

ANYONE aged 50 or over is invited to join Age UK for a scenic stroll every Tuesday from 2pm. The Dementia Friendly event will take place in Uppermill with the group meeting at the side of Warburton Court, just off Uppermill High Street, and take a short route finishing back at Warburton Court.
