TOM Bloxham, chairman and co-founder of Urban Splash, is visiting Oldham on April 27 to speak at Mahdlo Youth Zone's business breakfast networking event.
Urban Splash has worked on a series of landmark regeneration schemes across the UK, including in Manchester, Salford, Sheffield, Bradford, Bristol and Plymouth, and highlights how quality architecture can play a vital role in change.
Mr Bloxham will talk about how he launched and built Urban Splash, starting with two men in a shed and steering it through the ups and downs of the past 22 years.
The award-winning Manchester company has delivered more than 60 mixed-use schemes including residential property property of all tenure, office, retail and hotel developments. It was founded in 1993 by Mr Bloxham and Jonathan Falkingham, and has received 367 awards for its commitment to architecture, design, regeneration and business success.
The free Mahdlo event will run from 8am to 10am. Light refreshments will be provided, but as Mahdlo is a registered charity, donations can be made towards the breakfast on the day. To register, email: events@mahdloyz.org.
