A SIGN manufacturer which works on retail, leisure, commercial and industrial properties, has obtained ISO certification for its environmental practices.
Shaw-based Brand Consortia has achieved the 14001 certification from the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS)
The firm, of Duchess Street Industrial Estate, was founded in 2010 and is an Oldham Business Awards sponsor this year.
Its services include office installations, exhibitions and conferences, fleet signage, vehicle livery and graphic display products.
Director Matt Mason said "After so much hard work, I'm thrilled to finally be able to say that we're officially ISO14001-certified.
"This is something we have been passionate about for years. It's unusual within our industry and something we're very proud of.
"This goal has formed the basis of many commercial decisions we have made, which have brought us a step closer to taking responsibility for the impact we have and to do our part towards improving the future for us all."
He said features that led to the accreditation include replacing hazardous materials, such as solvent inks, paints and adhesives, with safer alternatives and using recyclable materials.
