OLDHAM company Broughton Controls has delivered turnstiles to BP to secure the perimeter of its new Grangemouth site in Scotland.
Broughton manufactures and installs perimeter security products such as gates, barriers and turnstiles and exports worldwide from its Shaw Road base. The BP order reflects the green canopy look of BP petrol stations, a feature which Broughton Controls was easily able to manage in its dedicated design department.
“Stringent requirements when it comes to installation of equipment on their sites meant BP was keen to have their banks of turnstiles delivered, ready assembled, as one unit,” said Laurence Goode, Broughton’s managing director.
He added: “This reduces installation time and the risk of health and safety issues.”
