Businessman Tor Taverner has opened a second Cash Generator franchise in Nuneaton after nine successful years in Oldham.
Tor (63), who lives in Huddersfield Road, Oldham, during his working week, operates the Cash Generator outlet in Yorkshire Street.
He has taken over the 1,300sq ft town-centre Nuneaton business to showcase an impressive range of quality second-hand items and graded goods.
Tor aims to repeat the success he has enjoyed with the company in Oldham through an unrivalled choice of product at competitive prices.
He said: “I am delighted to have acquired a new Cash Generator shop in Nuneaton. I had been planning to expand my franchisee business for a while and was waiting for the perfect site to come up.
“Having experienced great success in Oldham for nine years, I am determined to establish Cash Generator in the Nuneaton area and look forward to introducing myself to the loyal customer base and ensuring the future success of the business.”
Cash Generator managing director Julian Urry added: “I know that Tor will bring his experience to Nuneaton to ensure that the shop flourishes and becomes an integral part of the community, just as he has done in Oldham.”
Established in 1994, Cash Generator is the UK’s leading buy, sell and loan store offering a selection of second-hand, new and graded items for sale as well as instant money for goods and a host of highly competitive financial services, such as currency exchange and cheque cashing.
Cash Generator currently has 80 stores throughout England, Scotland and Wales, some company-owned and others franchised.
