Pub to reopen

THE former Litten Tree pub in Union Street will reopen as a J D Wetherspoon’s on December 12.
J D Wetherspoon pubs will open in Minehead, Bodmin, Doncaster and Sutton on the same day bringing the company’s total to 713.
Wetherspoon chief executive John Hutson said: “The five new pubs will take our tally of openings since August to 20. It has enabled us to create approximately 1,000 new jobs despite the downturn in the economy.”
