Hotel and offices planned
Date published: 17 December 2008
AN OUTLINE plan for a mixture of offices, a 100-bed hotel, a pub and conference facilities has been submitted for land in Hollinwood.
Oldham Council’s regeneration directorate has submitted the application for land at Pump Street and Alford Street, near the A62 and M60 junction.
Within the site were a cluster of residential properties which have now been demolished.
The proposed hotel will be four storey at the corner of the site, dropping down to two storey, to the north end of the building to blend in with the proposed smaller offices.
The application will be discussed at tonight’s planning committee at the Civic Centre, Oldham.
