Uppermill firm looks to future

PELICAN PR has been chosen to promote Futuresource 2009, a major new European sustainability exhibition.

Taking place at the London ExCeL arena in June, the ambitious new event is jointly organised by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and the Environmental Services Association.

Uppermill-based recycling and sustainability specialist Pelican has been briefed to support the event’s in-house press office with a media relations and stakeholder engagement campaign.

Managing director Michael Bennett said: “With the strap line ‘Europe’s sustainability event’, our brief is to help establish the event as a key diary date for all those involved in the management of waste and resources.”

Futuresource 2009 will be a major UK and European showcase for the latest products and services that the sustainable waste, recycling and resource management sector has to offer.
