A SECOND meeting of Oldham’s fledgling Women in Business Club takes place at Hollinwood Business Centre on Friday.
Following the amazingly successful launch at the Clough Manor, Denshaw, in November, organisers Barbara Jackson and Paula Jones have been busy studying all the evaluation sheets.
“Collating and disseminating information from more than 130 responses has been time consuming, but we wanted to have an in-depth idea of what everyone wanted from the club,” said Barbara from her florists shop in Huddersfield Road.
The result is a meeting that will start promptly at 3.30pm and close at 5.30pm at an easily accessible venue with free parking.
There will be short, business-related presentations from experts on: how to grow your business; how to recession-proof your business; tips on how to get you business listed on the first page of Google.
Anyone wishing to attend, who has not received a booking form by email, can call Barbara on 0161-633 5842.
On Friday evening the club has arranged a Valentine’s meal at the Ocean Treasure Restaurant, Chadderton. Places are limited, Barbara tells me, and can be booked with her at £15 per person.
