A FORMER corporate finance manager has seized the chance to start his own business, opening Belvoir Oldham — a well established franchise set to enjoy a bright future under its management.
Lee Shuell is based at the Belvoir office at 53 George Street which was opened by the Mayor of Oldham. Councillor Shoab Akhtar.
Lee said: “This is not only a fantastic opportunity for me, but also a big career move.
“I have always wanted to work for myself and build a successful business but haven’t been able to make that jump until now.
“I am confident that Belvoir Oldham will be a big success and the place to go for professional property services.”
Lee, who lives in Whitefield with his wife, seven-year-old son and four-year-old daughter, is very familiar with Oldham and the surrounding areas.
Passionate about the property industry he believes this, combined with extensive experience in the financial sector, puts him in a strong position to offer the borough a professional property management and lettings service.
He added: “There is a strong rental market in Oldham, especially among single professionals and also from young families, who are choosing to rent rather than buy due to the current economic climate.”
Belvoir has a growing network of more than 140 franchised offices stretching across the UK looking after a property portfolio valued at more than £1 billion.
