NEW manager . . . Jenny Cattermole
THE OLDHAM Evening Chronicle has welcomed its new advertising manager to the team.
Customers are key according to Jenny Cattermole who brings with her over 20 years experience in advertising and sales.
Originally from Leicester, Jenny (46) first worked as a retail manager for Sainsbury’s for six years before joining the Trinity Mirror group and rising through the ranks, from Saturday girl to sales manager and recruitment manager.
She latterly worked in advertising at the Nottingham Evening Post before moving to the Oldham Evening Chronicle in May and taking over her current role from the late Jim Whittingham.
She said: “My aims in this job are to meet the customers needs and focus on what customers want.
“We need to look at the whole portfolio of the Oldham Evening Chronicle as we are a publisher, not just a newspaper.
“As a team, we will create tailor-made packages for customers and broaden the portfolio.”
