OLDHAM businesses looking to improve their selling techniques during the recession can get help from Greater Manchester Chamber, which has launched a new sales academy.
Run by Business Support Solutions (BSS), the academy shows how companies can get every member of staff involved in the sales process.
BSS training consultant Gemma Lockett said: “In these difficult times businesses need to be striving to optimise every sales opportunity.
“By enhancing the skills of those employees that don’t have sales targets, but have regular contact with customers, you are increasing the opportunities to generate revenue for your business and increase the overall level of efficiency.”
The training units have been designed for people at every level, ranging from those who either do not currently sell or are new to sales, to existing sales people that are keen to develop their knowledge and skill base.
