James Roberts, (39), formerly a associate at Donaldsons/DTZ, Manchester, has established James Roberts Chartered Surveyors in Church Terrace, Oldham.
The practice offers full general practice advice to clients with an additional service provision of Level 4 Energy Performance Certificates.
Mr Roberts is returning to an area he knows well to develop his extensive knowledge of Greater Manchester and the North-West.
He said: “My primary aim is to provide a premium service to a select client base that needs a varied, personal service which they know they will not get at larger corporate firms.
“I am working for clients I have known for more than 10 years and I am enjoying a more varied palette.
“Offering Energy Performance certificates adds a topical, additional dimension as a sale or letting can no longer complete without one.”
