Indian trade mission
Date published: 16 December 2009
OLDHAM companies wanting to explore new business opportunities in India can take part in a trade mission in the New Year.
Barbara Singleton, from Greater Manchester Chamber’s International Trade Team, said: “India offers many partnering possibilities for companies, universities and colleges.
“Business is based on personal relationships, so you need to visit the country to meet people, form relationships and appreciate how fast India is developing.
“The forecast is that India may become the fifth-largest consumer market in the world by 2025.”
The visit to Mumbai and Delhi will take place between Monday, February 15 and Sunday, February 21, 2010. The total cost, subject to flight availability, is about £1,400.
