Construction firms build on bidding event

AN open day for construction-related businesses at the Hollinwood Business Centre attracted nearly 50 companies.

Hosted by Willmott Dixon Construction, in conjunction with J21 — a scheme to help local businesses secure construction-related employment and contracts on major developments across Oldham and Rochdale over the next 10 to 15 years — the ‘Meet the Bidders’ day targeted businesses within the Oldham area and informed managers of the Oldham Academies project for which WDC is bidding.
