AUSTERLANDS man Kevin O’Brien has organised a series of free business clinics, starting next Monday, to which Oldham business leaders and managers are invited.
Held between 5 and 7pm every Monday until February 1, the clinics will take place at the Hollins Mount, Bury, headquarters of chartered accountants DTE.
They will cover topics including personal and corporate tax, business growth and planning, audit matters, bookkeeping and VAT, payroll management and independent financial advice.

£5.5m fit out
A £5.5 million contract to fit-out the first and second floors above the radiotherapy centre at the Royal Oldham Hospital has been won by Vinci Construction and Sir Robert McAlpine.
The contract includes the fit-out of the first floor as a haematology ward and day-case unit and the second floor as a surgical ward.
Airline honour
Travel professionals from around the world have voted Lufthansa Europe’s Leading Airline in the 2009 World Travel Awards for the second consecutive year.
Lufthansa has a major operation out of Manchester International Airport, which is the German carrier’s second biggest business base in the UK outside London.
