Andy leads way in sales growth

AN Oldham business man is spearheading the development of a Stockport company.
Andy Royle, (40), from Grotton, is a founding partner at leads2trade, an Internet lead generator in the windows and conservatories market.
Leading a focused team, Mr Royle has overseen the generation of the leads2trade network with more than 500 window and conservatory suppliers registered in the UK.
With a wealth of experience at senior sales level, having spent 10 years as sales director at Draeger Safety in Blyth, Northumberland, one of the world’s largest business-to-business safety suppliers, he left five years ago to set up a sales and marketing consultancy from which leads2trade has evolved.
The company rapidly became one of the industry’s largest independent lead-generation suppliers to the home-improvement market sector.
Now the Stockport company is expanding into a new market.
On the back of a big contract win with nhsdiscounts, of Birmingham, that will open up a further audience of hundreds of thousands of potential leads, the Heaton Mersey-based business is supporting the country’s tradesmen as market leaders with expansion into the kitchen market. Mr Royle said: “We are providing in excess of 500 companies in these industries with more than 150,000 qualified sales leads.
“The service has proved to be so effective the numbers of suppliers on board has increased year on year, with last year resulting in a record number of new companies joining the consumer facing Trusted Local Suppliers brand.”
Trusted Local Suppliers focuses on sourcing trusted tradesmen from local areas and the new kitchen network has come as a result of an increased demand from the consumer for directories in this area, at a time when homeowners are spending more time on renovations and DIY rather than moving house.
Mr Royle added: “We are thrilled to support so many companies in growing their businesses in what has been a very tough year.
