Saddleworth communications consultancy Pelican PR has appointed two new consultants — Chloe Butterick and Fiona Shackleton.
An experienced PR professional, Fiona (26), from Mirfield, brings her extensive knowledge of business-to-business PR to the Pelican team in the areas of logistics, construction and social media, where she has run a series of award-winning campaigns.
Chloe (27), from Halifax, joins from North Kesteven District Council, Lincolnshire, where she was a key member of the press and publications office. She has extensive experience of local authority communications, especially in the areas of planning, recycling and community engagement and consultation.
They join the environmental, food and packaging specialist agency, based at Holly House, Mill Street, Uppermill, at a time of rapid expansion.
Pelican PR has won several new contracts, including the UK’s leading producer of goats’ milk, St Helen’s Farm.
Managing director Michael Bennett said: “Chloe and Fiona join us at a very busy time for our consultancy.
“They will strengthen our specialist food and environmental teams and will play a vital role in our on-going expansion.”
