ONE of the largest welding equipment and consumable distributors in the North-West of England, supplying some of the largest welder/ fabricators and engineers in the region, has relocated to Oldham.

Complete Welding Services Ltd has quit its base in Dukinfield and moved to Unit A, Drury Lane, Chadderton.

Sales manager Paul Strut said that the company, which employs 15 people, was set up to fill a need in the market for a truly technical-orientated supplier.

He added: “We have a technical department ready to advise on any welding problem, large or small, and a dedicated team of sales technicians visiting customers on site or at their works offering total welding solutions.”

Complete Welding Services is the main distributor and stockist for some of the largest machine and consumable manufacturers in the UK and Europe, including Sab.Murex, Miller, Migotronic, Nederman, Jancy, Bohler Thyssen Soudometal, Parweld, Klingspor, Hypertherm, Hightec Welding and Gas-Arc.

The sales side is supported by what Mr Strut calls a “vast hire fleet of all types of welding equipment”, including plasma cutters, magnetic drills and CD Studwelders.

To introduce themselves to the Oldham business community, the company hosted an open day at its new, 15,000sq ft premises supported by many suppliers.

Among the guests was Oldham West and Royton MP Michael Meacher, who met managing director Craig Evans.
