STAFF donned their best dresses and smartest suits as legal firm Harold Stock and Co., which has offices in Mossley and Failsworth, rewarded them with a day at York races.
Five of the firm’s partners live in Saddleworth, including James O’Donnell, from Lydgate.
He said the partners are “proud to have such friendly, approachable and hard working support staff” and wanted to thank them for their hard work and effort.
King-sized Bensons
Bensons for Beds Royton store, within Harveys at Central Retail Park, is taking on extra space to expand its retail offer as part of a programme to increase the company’s presence nationwide.
The store is taking the extra space as a result of Harveys strategic decision to withdraw from bedroom furniture sales.
Greggs’ wheat crisis warning
Bakery chain Greggs, which has shops throughout the Oldham area, has warned that rising wheat prices could lead to customers paying more for its products in the coming months.
The Newcastle–based firm said it expected an increase in "ingredient cost" after severe droughts in Russia triggered a jump in wheat prices.
