BOOKINGS are filling up for the Remploy Building Products open-day at the Ashton Road, Bardsley, factory on Wednesday, September 15.
Managers want to showcase the range of skills available through the site and have planned a busy day for employers in and around Oldham.
Organisers Alan Jackson and Wendy Norcliffe are delighted with the response to date but are keen to emphasise there is still time to register and plenty of capacity.
“The event will run in two sessions, morning and afternoon, as we want to make sure everyone has to chance to come long and see us,” says Alan.
Entitled “Creating Value in a Socially Responsible Way” the first open-day session starts at 8am with breakfast and drinks available in the Nemo Suite.
There are a number of presentations in the two-hour slot including “One Remploy” by Frances Pearson, “Employment Services” by Julie Lawton and her team, plus talks on building products.
There will also be a case study highlighting Newbridge School in Oldham.
Factory tours will bring the morning session to a close and refreshments will be offered as delegates are invited to complete feedback forms.
The afternoon session, which runs from 2pm until 4pm, follows the same agenda and timetable, without the breakfast.
