Awards categories all set to be revealed

INVITES went out this week for the launch of the 2011 One Oldham Business Awards.

The lunch will take place at Fresca, the Italian restaurant in Delph, on Monday, September 20, between noon and 2pm.

It is sponsored by Johnson Construction, Delph and Grundy Armstrong Kershaw Accountants, Union Street, Oldham.

Categories for the 2011 awards will be announced at the lunch which will be attended by sponsors, potential sponsors and last year’s winners.

The gala presentation dinner will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham, on Friday, March 18, 2011.

A major change introduced by the steering committee this year involves entries — unlike the previous two years, companies, firms, organisations and individuals can now be nominated by third parties such as customers, clients, suppliers, colleagues and anyone who believes reward and recognition is deserved.
