TEN sales were achieved when Auction House Ryder and Dutton held its first regional auction.
The estate agency, of Salmon Fields, Royton, in its first foray into property auctions, was delighted with a turnout of more than 250 people at the Norton Grange Hotel, in Castleton.
Four properties reached prices in excess of the top end of the guide prices and another was sold prior to the auction when a bid that the vendor found impossible to reject was lodged.
There has been strong post-sale interest in most of the properties that remained unsold and further sales are anticipated, said Auction House Ryder and Dutton director Geoff Maybank.
Ryder and Dutton’s next sale is on February 24
