A ROYTON company has been named one of the leading limousine suppliers in the country.
Lady Jayne Limousines, owned by John Flint and Helen Wolstencroft, took the accolade at a dinner in Cardiff after being named nominated by one of the UK’s major transport brokers.
The business, which operates from offices Royton and garage facilities in Edge Lane Street, was named North West Agent of the Year 2010/2011 at the third annual Transport Broker of the Year awards.
Six other companies were nominated and Lady Jayne Limousines were revealed as regional winners before an invited audience at St Davids’ Hotel in the Welsh capital.
Mr Flint, who established the business 13 years ago, said: “It’s a great honour and we are delighted to be recognised as one of the leading companies in our industry.” The company operates some unique limos in the 10 vehicle fleet, including a converted fire engine and the Star Fleet party bus alongside traditional white and pink stretch limousines plus an American Clenet, the only one in the UK.
