Pelican PR has claimed a hat-trick of nominations in the Fresh Awards, which recognise the best PR campaigns delivered by consultancies based outside London.
The Uppermill agency has been shortlisted for Best Consultancy Team and its campaigns for the British Frozen Food Federation and the British Metals Recycling Association have been nominated for Best Business-to-Business campaign and Best Public Affairs and Lobbying respectively.
Managing director Michael Bennett said: “This is yet more recognition of the quality of work we deliver for our clients. It’s also an endorsement of our commitment to being specialists in our chosen sectors — recycling and sustainability, packaging, food and drink and outdoor pursuits.”
Meanwhile, Pelican’s dedicated outdoor sports team has been appointed to promote cycling’s men’s and women’s National Elite Road Race Championships 2011.
British Cycling’s National Elite Road Race Championships are the biggest single day of racing on the British calendar.
The 2011 event will take place on Sunday, June 26.
