Pearson Hinchliffe Commercial Law has launched a new corporate recovery and insolvency service to help distressed small and medium-sized enterprises.
The service will be available through the corporate commercial department at the Hollinwood office.
The service, which targets companies, partnerships, sole traders and individual stakeholders within troubled businesses, will offer advice in corporate and personal insolvency matters.
Pearson Hinchcliffe has joined forces with Cheshire insolvency and chartered accountancy practice DMC Corporate Services. The two firms will try to save companies from insolvency and turn them round.
Roger Hinchliffe, principal at PHCL, said: “With DMC we feel we can build a corporate recovery offering that assures the high technical standards consistent with our firm’s overall service.
“It is a sign of the times that good businesses get into trouble. They don’t always need to go bust, but if they do we can work with the client management and advise on such areas as voluntary liquidation, company voluntary arrangements, administration, pre-packs, insolvency, individual voluntary arrangements, as well as general advisory services.”
