Paint your wagon, it gets you noticed

A TELECOMS business in Hollinwood has adopted a unique marketing method to drive the company forward — painting the logo on a curtain-sided vehicle.
The brainchild of manager Nicola Donnelly, the company will be seen all over the region as the truck trundles along the highways and byways of North-West England.
Based in Hollinwood Business Centre, TI Telecoms has a new website — developed over several months — and Nicola was keen to get the message across.
She said: “The idea started as just a bit of fun and then grew into a sensible proposition.
“Our name will be seen all over the region and hopefully we drive people to look at our new website.
“We have worked extremely hard to get the site just as we want it and we are convinced we can continue to grow the business.”
Business-to-business telecommunications are the specialisms of the business, which has developed VOIP — Voice Over Internet Protocols — business models for clients across Oldham. TI Telecoms, owned by founder Andrea Wilson-Brown, also offers traditional business-to-business telecoms products.
Two other people are employed, Calum Aston, from Hollinwood, on sales and customer service and Nick Green, from Moorside, recruited through the Future Jobs Fund scheme.
John Brown, who owns the truck, is Andrea’s brother and he contracts with Ferguson Polycom in Hollinwood.
