Hope pays off in tots’ furniture store venture

ROYTON woman Victoria Parrott has transformed the basement of a mill in Ancoats into a stunning children’s furniture store endorsed by celebrities.

Victoria had a vision of how she wanted Adorable Tots to look and, with the help of her electrician husband Conrad, set about restoring the basement of Hope Mill into a store she believes is unique to the North-West.

The vast showroom has 25 room settings on display plus products from market leaders including Kidsmill, Bambizi, Blossom Mother and Child, Mountain Buggy and Dragons of Walton Street, producers of some of the finest hand-painted children’s furniture in the world including royal commissions and patrons from all walks of life, including Madonna and Tess Daly.

The official launch party saw guests, including Oldham glamour model Michelle Marsh and her former Latics footballer husband Will Haining, served champagne and cupcakes.

Adorable Tots already has established what Victoria describes as a huge celebrity following online.

Before deciding to work for herself, Victoria was in the events management business and researched children’s furniture.

Initially working from home at weekends while in full-time employment, Victoria established he business online before investing in the space in Ancoats, which is also a creative hub for the artists’ community in Manchester.
