OLDHAM-based travel agent Heather Rigby has enjoyed an exclusive evening at the award-winning Rosso Restaurant in Manchester, owned by United and England footballer Rio Ferdinand.
Leading independent travel company Travel Counsellors, which has 1,200 agents worldwide, treated its top performing Gold Travel staff — including Heather, from Royton — to an evening of fine dining and entertainment.
This included a champagne reception at the luxury city centre Radisson Hotel before being chauffeured to the venue in stretched Hummer limousines.
Heather said: “The event was amazing and it was lovely to be recognised and rewarded by the company for my hard work in achieving gold standard.”
Heather believes the secret of her success is providing a unique level of personal service and because she runs her business from home, she is available to her clients 24/7.
Travel Counsellors is independent of the big-name tour operators, leaving Heather free to recommend the holiday that suits her clients’ needs.
This unique approach has led to Travel Counsellors becoming one of the top-scoring companies in the world when it comes to customer service.
More than 90 per cent of customers said that they would definitely recommend their Travel Counsellor to their friends and colleagues.
