OLDHAM’S business commuinity is invited to meet the new leader of Oldham Council, Councillor Jim McMahon, at a strategic breakfast meeting which takes place on Wednesday, July 6, between 7.30am and 9.30am at Fresca Restaurant, Gatehead Business Park, Delph.
Councillor McMahon, who took over after Labour’s victory in the May council elections, will be accompanied by the council’s chief executive, Charlie Parker.
The breakfast will offer business leaders the opportunity to hear the new leader’s vision for the growth of the borough and how he will be working with, and for, local businesses to achieve his aims.
Business bosses will also have the opportunity to speak directly to Councillor McMahon and Mr Parker about their business-growth issues through a question and answer session, following which there will an opportunity to network.
Places are at a premium, restricted to two per business, and will be allocated on a first-come basis. Email shirley.burns@oldham.gov.uk stating any specific dietary requirements to book a place.
