OLDHAM-BASED estate agency Ryder and Dutton has been recognised for the way the business has embraced technology.
The company, which has its head office at Edge View House, Salmon Fields Business Village, Royton, and branches throughout Oldham, Tameside and West Yorkshire, won an award for innovation and technology at the National Homes Network conference in Cheltenham.
Describing the award as a “fantastic” achievement, Ryder and Dutton director Richard Powell explained the network comprises selected and approved estate agencies across the UK representing more than 250 offices.
He said that Ryder and Dutton had “always led the market, locally and regionally”, and added: “Over a period of many years we have been among the first in the area to adapt to changes in technology with the integration of digital marketing and full photography and floorplans.”
The firm has also embraced the internet as a selling tool alongside blogs and e-marketing, complementing a strong local media presence.
After accepting the award, Mr Powell said: “It is by striving to keep our brand innovative and cutting edge, implementing new ideas and technologies, and reacting to social media developments, that will keep us evolving and continually improving.”
