We mean business

BUSINESS people from Oldham enjoyed themselves shooting targets at a paintball arena in Chadderton at their last networking lunch.
Hosted by the Paintball Arena in Fields New Road, the event attracted people from all over the borough and beyond who heard Oldham Council President Craig Dean, Chief Executive of Web Applications Ltd., explain how the organisation is working for members on a range of issues including the vexed question of late payments.
“There is a great deal that the Chamber can do for the business community. We have a voice and we can make it heard,” he told the gathering before they were addressed by Richard Dean, who owns the arena, the largest indoor space in the UK, outside London.
“We have more than 31,000 square feet and in addition to the paintball arena we have a dedicated laser venue, too. We can accommodate groups and corporate days, it’s great fun and is excellent team building,” he added.
